BRIDPORT: Unsolved crimes

THIEVES made off with four heavy stone garden pots and a stone statue bird bath from a front garden in North Allington overnight on April 22nd. 
The bird bath was on a pedestal that had a Roman wreath design. Both the pots and the bird bath would have been very heavy to move, said a police spokesman.

• TWO terracotta urn type planters that are around two foot tall were stolen from a front garden in Mapperton Lane, Melplash overnight on April 22nd.
